We're staying at PVB for the first time in a couple of weeks. Can we pool hop to the main pool at the Polynesian????? How far away is the main pool???

Best wishes,
Dave

It's not hopping when its the same resort. The two pools are fairly close to each other.

It's all yours!
And you'll get bonus points if you do the slide. :beach:

Some think it's quite the walk. I thought it was nothing from Moorea. Fastest route exit west end of Moorea - in and out through Tokelau's entrances, through the Oasis pool and almost voila.

But any which way, it's nothing.

Have a wonderful time.

Thanks so much Illinido!

Yes Lisa, I fully intend to brake a record for most adult trips down the slide!

No way your breaking my record ;)

Don't worry about the walk from your room to anywhere. The whole resort can be walked from end to end in 7 or 8 minutes. The pools from the DVC longhouses are 3 or 4 minute walks.

Just stayed at PVB, and our whole family agrees that the DVC pool there is nicer than the main pool. Although not as big and no water slide, it is deeper in the middle and less crowded. The food there is also delicious. My one complaint is that seating is limited. I hope they rectify that soon as there is plenty if room to add additional seating.

The Oasis pool is not a DVC pool and the Lava pool is actually deeper over near the waterfall than the deepest part of the Oasis pool at the drain but they did a nice job with the Oasis pool renovation.

Polynesian_Oasis_Pool,_May,_2016 Resize.jpg ENJOY the two pools, Oasis Pool and Lava Pool with great slide, both very nice, but Oasis pool definitely quieter. Don't have younger kids, but the CM's at the Lava Pool did a nice job with engaging the kids with pool games, contests, etc. The younger children slides and playscape area adjacent to the Lava Pool was really nice and heavily used by younger children with life guard right there.:thumbsup2
