Putting up decorations is so much fun...

but taking them down is pure drudgery!
I have all the non-ornament stuff put away back in the basement, but it's the Hallmark ornaments especially, putting them back into their little boxes, and why do I put up 2 trees???? I am so close to being done but I'm SOOOO losing my motivation--I can live another day without a kitchen table!

Oh-Did you watch the Today show this morning and the segment about organizing decorations?? It would cost a small fortune to buy all the correct containers!

I will be taking our decorations down tomorrow and I dread it.

I am in post christmas/holiday denial. My house will look so sad w/o all the decorations.

I love to put things up, but dread taking things down.

Ihave all my decorations down and packded away but the boxes are still stacked up in the hall waiting for someone to put them in the rafters. Your right it is pure drudgery.

I hate those little ornament boxes! I convinced DH last year to let me throw them all away and just wrap the ornaments in tissue paper and put them all in one box - takes less room and less time - a win/win situation!!

That said - my ornaments are still on the tree - I'm STILL dreading taking it all down!

Yeah - when I read here about those people who put up more than one tree - I think: they'll have to take them all down eventually! I'll get started tomorrow in the undecorating - ugh!
