putting transfers onto a plain backpack?

I was thinking I would love a backpack with some different designs I've seen here on this board. Has anyone ever done this? Would love to see some pictures and get suggestions on what to buy.

i did this for our recent trip

i actually got cheapy backpacks from dollar tree & they were just right...not to big/small...not to bulky...not to heavy

I ironed on some patches I got made from here!!

everyone LOVED them...i even filled them with goodies & had a friend make "tags" for them!!

Did you print on transfer sheets then iron them on? I'll have to check Dollar tree for backpacks now.

yes i printed them on iron on paper & then ironed them on...my only advice is that the backpacks had a waterproof materials that caused it to "melt" to the oposite side...so stick something in the bag to avoid that or if you can fit it on the iron board to just have the one side !!!& just watch as you iron to avoid further "melting" or scorching

& yes i made the necklaces...i saw some beads at michaels crafts & went from there!!
