Put out to pasture on the Magic!

JLSE50, just wanted to say hi  . I use to live in Valpo (the University) for a little while ten years ago.

Welcome floridaminnie! :earsgirl:

We have lived here 9 years. I am originally from upstate NY. We lived 7 1/2 years in Bethlehem PA. One DS :earsboy: still lives there. The other :earsboy: is with us here. He graduated from college--Taylor University, Upland IN-- in May and is job hunting now--computer science.
DH :earsboy: is a self employed environmental engineer doing consulting work.
Minnie :earsgirl: is my favorite character too. I am a homecare pediatric physical therapist--working part-time.
We would love to live in Florida. What got you there?
Jan :earsgirl:

Me 7

They can even let me work 1 or 2 days a week in the shop just so I can keep active.

Three Circles, I love the 'letter'.

:bounce: me too, me too, I want to come, I am actually quite quiet in real life, honest:wave:

I just hope it helps Jilljill! BTW, I think I could handle working in the shop with you. I wonder if we would get a discount on our purchases?

Discount, how about we work for our purchases?!?

But they'll have to modify the ship some....

senior citizen karaoke

sugar-free chocolate lava cake (for us seniors with diabetes)

non-slip footies for the rainforest room

large print menus

never get rid of 70's night, even though we'll be the only ones who remember the songs

seniors bingo on the Nassau Day because you KNOW we won't be getting off the ship

add ensure to the room service menu

any others???

 Maybe they can put a retirement village on Castaway Cay to stay at in between cruises! Now that would truly be a piece of heaven.

Cool!
We could all shuffle on out to the beach and clean up after the ship has left port.

I volunteer for the on-board CPA. Now all I need is to find one of those calculators with the REALLY big buttons so I can see them as my eyes start to fail!

DH found one at Wat-Mart not long ago and it was really cheap. Got to save for our retirement you know!:p

I volunteer for the "clean up the island" crew as a resident of the Disney Senior Citizen Housing at Castaway Cay.

In the meantime, can we institute these things now?

I can only imagine what "the suits" will dream up for us after reading this thread.

I want a cabin too please.

Don't forget we will need to be able to rent wheelchairs and walkers!

They already have Bingo - How about a knitting class?
