Put our 14 year old dog to sleep today

Our 14 year old Aussie had to be put to sleep today. He had a stroke and couldn't walk. I didn't see it coming. We were just at the vet last Friday and they said he looked great. I have a 17 month old daughter who loved her doggie. His name was Larry and he will really be missed. The saddest part is, she keeps looking for him. It is also sad that she will not remember him when she's older.

I was just at the vet today taking my pug puppy in, and I asked the vet receptionist if it was hard to work there at times...she said yes because she'll see families walk into the exam room with their animal, and walk out with only a leash..

It might seem sudden,but get yourself another dog quickley.It will be a great healing process.Jusy think of your dog in another.But only if you are ready..
