Pushing Trip? AP Rates in May?

Well we may be pushing our April trip. Not far, we may have to push it 2 weeks or so.

That would have us checking in around May 7 instead of April 23.

The con to pushing it is, I WANT TO GO NOW!

The pro to pushing it is, we will be there for all the 50th celebration party stuff.

And DH says if we push the trip we can look at doing WL or AKL instead of CSR!

Does anyone have any idea of what AP rates are/were last year for May?

I would love to do WL or AKL!

Quick question to the board. Should we book our room for our trip (5-5 thru 5-9) at the CR now or should we wait for a possible discount code? We are taking our granddaughter (age 8) and would love to stay close to MK, but rooms are a little out of our price range. Would appreciate any advice on this. Thanks

Having a room booked at the CR that you can't afford unless discounts come out won't be helpful. You can only get that CR room at a discount if and when the discounts come out and if there are still rooms available when you call. I mean that holding a regular rate room won't automatically mean that a discounted rate room will be available when you call.

I think it best to reserve a room somewhere that you're sure you'd take if there are not discounts then if discounts are announced call back and try to book the resort you really want!
