Reminder for the fans....
The three shows -- "Pushing Daisies," "Eli Stone" and "Dirty Sexy Money" -- will air Saturday nights at 10 in a sort of burnoff theater spot. The last three episodes of "Daisies" will air starting May 30, followed by the four remaining "Eli Stones" beginning June 20 and the final four "Dirty Sexy Money" episodes on July 18.

Thank you!! :happytv: Love Dirty Sexy Money and would have missed it because I never even check the Saturday listings since nothing is ever on.

Indications are that Fuller had a chance to adjust the final episode before it was filmed, knowing that it would be the last one broadcast.

Note, though, that he indicated that there simply wasn't enough screen-time left to tie up all the loose ends, so they'll tie up a bunch, and then tie up the rest via a set of graphic novels.

Thanks for the info!

This will be the last new programming I watch on ABC (aside from Grey's Anatomy). I am tired of becoming invested in new shows only to watch ABC cancel them within a year or two, replaced by some insipid reality program.

I guess unique, original entertaining programming is a thing of the past at ABC.:sad2:

I couldn't agree more. Finally had resigned myself to Pushing Daisies being no more, and found "The Unusuals" on ABC as well. Of course, it being another quirky intelligent show, ABC has canceled it. :sad2: I don't know who I'm more mad and disgusted at: the networks, when they make such boneheaded moves, or the brain-dead viewers who keep watching all the insipid reality shows, prompting even more of them. Ugh.

I love "The Unusuals" too. Sure sign a show will be cancelled- if it appeals to both DBF and I and it is not on NBC Thusdays. I liked Joan of Arcadia also( not sure what network that was on) with Amber Tamblyn- cancelled.

Amen. And I don't think it is limited to ABC. Those reality shows are becoming more and more irritating. But many people like them. Look at all the support for that childish show, Wipe Out.

Thank you! I LOVE Daisies so I just set my DVR to tape it to be sure I won't miss it. :thumbsup2

ABC brought back Castle for a second season, and they brought back Private Practice for a third season, now; so they're not completely without new programming. It's not like they're canceling every new show; they're only canceling the ones only a few of us watch.

ITA. Not only did we become hooked on Pushing Daisies, but Life On Mars as well. Both were very, very good shows that ABC cancelled. I won't become invested in any shows anytime soon...it's too disappointing when they're dumped :(

I was so happy when I learned that they brought back Castle.

Pushing Daises will be sorely missed though. Its first year was during the writer's strike, so it had a hard fight up against it from the beginning.

Holy hell, in the Seattle area, Pushing Daisies is being pre-empted by some telethon or something. I'm so annoyed that I can't TIVO it, and will have to watch it online. Not the same.
