Pushcart payment question?

When I was in DW last year, most pushcarts throughout the parks accepted cash only. I heard they were going to install the machines to take your onsite resort id for payment.

Has this happened yet? Or do I still need to carry some cash around for ice cream, soda...etc.

Last time we were there it was still cash only, but that was a few months ago.

I got ice cream at a stand near Mexico in the WS last month. It did look like he had an electronic machine, it looked to be wireless like a cellphone.

There are still some that accept cash and Disney dollars only.

most of them do take room charges/credit cards but there are still some that aren't networked yet, so bring some cash with you anyway.
