I saw videos of people interacting with PUSH this year and last year though?

I have a video of my DGD interacting with it in 2022. It wasn’t like the old days where there was an actual person running it, it was all pre-recorded stuff, but to a 3 year-old it was fun! I was just wondering if it was still there.

Wikipedia is not a trusted source. There have been a couple of versions of PUSH since it's debut at the MK back in the mid 90's.

I have personally seen and heard it working multiple times within the last couple of years. I can't nail down exactly the last time I saw it, but I'd say most likely it was one of our 2023 trips. Due to my husband's health issues we've cancelled most of our trips this year, and the one time I've been in the Odyssey building back in March I did not pay any attention. I hope it's still there. It's the little things that bring that Disney magic!

Love PUSH. our story:

Back around 2012 in MK, our three kids were playing with PUSH. Our daughters were about 10 and 8 at the time and our son was 5. Push says to our son: "You know why you should be nice to your sisters? ...because someday they'll have hot friends". Went right over his head but all the adults in the area had a good laugh. Good 'ol PUSH.

Yes, I know, and I really miss the original!! I remember it following my DD around on one of our trips in the 90’s, hounding her for her gum or candy wrapper. The pre-recorded one pales in comparison, but, like I said, my 3 year-old DGD got a kick out of it.

I saw him last week just by accident! Went to drop trash, it talked to me, I kept testing it, it kept talking. Seems a pre-recorded to react when opened. It said PUSH on both sides while other trashcans said nothing. We had our few minutes of fun.

I guess I would call this PUSH 0.1 instead of PUSH 1.0. Definitely a downgrade. The real PUSH imo was the one that drove around and actually interacted with guests, sought out particular guests and was voiced by someone, somewhere watching.

I suppose guests now get some semblance of what PUSH was like, but it's a shame. Probably due to cost cutting.

I think this has been absorbed by Muppet Labs and when you see the "independent" driven by someone it is a Muppet Labs. So kinda an upgrade.

Thanks! That’s exactly where I remember it being. If we happen to be going that way, we will check it out again, only to see if she reacts differently at 5 then she did at 3.
