Purple Cows Paper Cutter?

Its no problem having the crack because the blade runs parallel not across it. And I love that if I'm doing small stiff I don't have to clear a big space. Well, not such a big space as opened out

I got the MM one and like how straight it cuts but sometimes I have problems cutting a piece that won't fit under the see thru plastic guide - I guess that can come off easily enough but if I have a piece that is thicker than the space allowed (due to a paper piecing or extra stuff stuck on the item) then I get my old fiskars out and use that. Overall though I do like that I can fold it up - it is quite heavy but sturdy and that it does cut straight. I got it at Michaels with a 40% off coupon.
