I haven't tried them but my DD uses them at college and she hasn't complained. I thought they would be easier to store in her room rather than the messy jugs of liquid detergent. I think they'd be great for travel.

My DS uses them at college too. He loves them. He doesn't have to worry about spilling anything. He's home on break and his clothes look good--everything still appears to be the original color, and the whites are still white. And he's pretty sensitive to detergents and has not had any problems with odors or skin sensitivity.

I used them for a while, until I noticed the fabric softener was staining our clothes. So then I started cutting that part off (b/c we don't use fabric softener anyway) and then thought "what the heck am I doing? Cutting that part off pretty much defeats the purpose of using them."

So I went back to regular liquid.

But I loved them when we went to Disney. I just cut the softener part off.
