purchasing ultimate ticket

hi there the family is all booked up for two weeks at disney but alas not till july 2006 ..

have started to do a wee bit of palnning to get me back in the dis mood.

as we will be staying onsite ..pop century ..we are going to get the ultimate ticket...it was alot simplier our last visit in 2000 since the ticket came as part of our room card....

ive checked with disney and they say that the ultimate ticket has to be bought here before we go and they say it couldnt be added to our room card ....the email i got back from them was slightly garbled english and i wondewed if what i had asked had been understood fully.... anyway they directed me to the disney website where these tickets can be bought for £169 ..

I know that these tickets can be bought cheaper else where so is there any point in actually buying from disney directly ?????

No just do your research on the internet and get the cheapest price. We bought ours through attractionticketsdirect. They were one of the most expensive companies but have a good reputation and price match. We just rang them up with a price, they got the company up on their computer and price matched it there and then. Tickets (real ones not vouchers) arrived promptly.

Travel city direct are doing them for 164 at the moment and thats the cheapest I have seen them.

Orlando Ticket Detals has the 14 day ultimate ticket for £153, we have just purchased our 5 park flexi tickets from them. Used them before with no problems.

We leave next Monday morning and through circumstances had forgotten to book our Orlando flex ticket. I telephoned "themepark tickets" at 1pm yesterday and had my tickets delivered at 8am this morning (19 hours - very impressed!). Not only were they the cheapest I could find but there is no credit card charge on the transaction, although because the order was made over the phone rather than online there was a £5 charge. Well worth the charge for that level of efficiency.

cheers all for all the info , looks like disney arent going to be getting all my pennies directly , seems silly that disney charge more than the the ticket agencies...

but the savings to be had with booking with a ticket firm for the 4 adult tickets that I need work out at a saving close to 50 pounds ..and thats a meal for us ....

final question ive heard that some ticket people dont actually sell you a ticket but a voucher that has to be swapped when you get there ...is this the case ..would rather have an actual ticket in my hand before we go ...

Fantastic - i need to pick up a couple extra 5 park flexes and this was the cheapest at 108 but I wondered if anyone had used them.

I'll go ahead and purchase them :0)
