Purchasing Tickets

We are looking to go Christmas week(arrival 12/19). Is there any advantage to buying tickets now. I assume they are non refundable. I plan on getting trip insurance due to December weather but I am not sure how far in advance to buy my actual tickets. I'm looking at almost $1800 for 2 days. We will probably also do 1 day at Magic Kingdom, I'm hoping we can do the Holiday party but until dates are announced we may be a day late from cut off. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Only advantage is that you lock in ticket price. Technically they can adjust pricing whenever, so it depends if that’s a big or small factor to you
