Purchasing Sea World tickets.

We've planned our forthcoming trip and have decided to spend a day (or maybe 2 if we get a return trip free) at Sea World. My question....... What's the best way to purchase the tickets? We're not planning on going to Virgin's welcome meeting and don't really see the point in going just to purchase Sea World tickets. Would you buy on-line direct with Sea World, or another ticket seller or I'm even thinking of just turning up and buying at the gate.
Also, we are a non-driving family so will be in need of transportation. We could consider booking a taxi or taking a Mears Bus.

Any DIS advice.

I have just been looking on Attraction Tickets Direct and a 1 day ticket is £36 (I think) and I was thinking the same as you that if we can get a return within 7 days for free then it would really only be £18 a day - which I can handle!

I think I am going to do that with ATD. Just off to check on Sea World's site as to whether they will be doing that offer in Jan!

I can't help with the transport though as we always drive.

We have AP's but if we need tickets for anyone else then we buy direct, they usually have offers on like now adult pays child price $59.99 and 2nd day free.

Another option is the fun card for $69.95 valid all year until 31st Dec.

I would buy direct from Sea World - they always have offers on, last time we got 7 days access for the price of a 1 day ticket.

Just keep checking their website.

the funcard is the way to go! you can go as many time as you like to seaworld -it expires on the 31st dec, so well worht having it!

We normally get the seaworld/busch gardens ticket. Go to both parks as many times as you want for 14 days after first use, free transport from seaworld to busch gardens and back and the ticket is cheaper than buying the 2 one day tickets seperately. If you're thinking of Universal and Islands of adventure aswell then go for the flex ticket or flex ticket plus.
Don't bother with Virgin welcome meeting, complete waste of park time!

I always try and find the cheapest option.

This year we wanted a combined Aquatica and Sea World ticket. It was cheaper to buy the two in one ticket than separate entries. What I found was that the actual Sea World site offered the best deal on this type of ticket. We just ran off the tickets on our printer.
