Hi everyone. I was just curious if I order the PAP from the website and use my Disney visa do I still get the points? Also would I then have to call member services to link it up before they send us out magic bands? I've never bought an ap before and not sure how it works. TIA

Yes, you will get your points. In fact, you'll get the 2% rate for purchasing from Disney.

The easiest way to link your voucher number to your bands is using the My Disney Experience web site.

Great! Thanks. Just by linking the voucher doesn't activate them right? It'll get activated when we first use them?

Depending on the option you choose you will either get a Will Call confirmation number or you can pay to have vouchers mailed to you. If you go with Will Call, you enter the confirmation number into MDE. With a voucher, once it arrives in the mail you enter some number off the voucher into MDE but I don't know which one.

Once you get to WDW, take your Will Call confirmation page (or vouchers) to a Guest Relations window outside any park or at DTD. They will give you your actual passes. At that point you have an activated AP/PAP and the 1-year countdown starts that day.

In my case we had to hand over our Magic Bands to the CM as well and he had to do something with them. This was in the early days of MB testing so I'm not sure if that's still necessary. Just make sure you have them with you even if you opt to get your passes at DTD.

Thanks. Looks like I may do will call because our fast pass plus date is next week. :confused3

Only the Disney Premier Visa Card earns 2% on most Disney purchases. The Disney Rewards Visa Card only earns 1%.

I have the Disney Premier so that'll be nice to get 2%. :)

The will call option is quick, easy and no additional charge (mailing of exchange vouchers requires a fee). You will get an email confirmation that contains the number needed to link to MDE.

Regardless of the pre-purchase delivery method (will call or exchange voucher), you still have to stop at a guest relations location or park ticket window at WDW to get your actual pass(es).

Do you know how this works with the magic bands? Would I pick them up and then take it to guest services for them to activate them?
