purchasing magic bands

I received a Disney promo card after the DVC member cruise, October, 2019. Due to Covid I haven't been to Disney and kept pushing our trip till this summer so haven't been able to use the promo card. I felt more comfortable having my vaccines before heading to Disney. Here's my question, can I use this promo card to purchase our magic bands, if I call member services? I looked on the website but didn't see a way to use it on the Disney Experience site.

Is it a Disney gift card? If so, you should be able to enter it when you check out of ordering the bands, in the same place you would enter a credit card.

I couldn’t find a place to purchase magic bands with a gift card either. Would be interested to know if you were allowed to use a gift card if you called?

MS can not help with that. You’d want to call Disney directly as they have the magic bands.
