Purchasing JetBlue or SWA tix from Canada

OK, newbie to the whole idea of buying US airline tickets from Canada.

We are heading to WDW in May (first time) but with the dollar still quite high we're just going to buy the tickets now from either Jet Blue or SWA (huge savings by flying out of Buffalo vs Toronto!)

So how does this work - I order online, and then what - do I get tickets in the mail at my Canadian address? Do I just get an order number of some kind that I can then use when I show up at the airport in Buffalo?

Just wondering how this actually works....any thoughts would be appreciated

I've flown Jetblue a couple of times and would highly recomend them to anyone. You can purchase online and you will receive a confirmation number with all the details of the flights. You can just print it and take it with you to the airport. It's really no different than buying a ticket from Westjet.

We buy our Southwest flights online. There are no tickets. You get a confirmation number. You can check in up to 24 hours in advance and print off your boarding passes. That's all you need (plus your passport) to check luggage/go through security. I absolutely love the Buffalo airport and would highly recommend flying out of there. I've only flown with Southwest, but people love Jetblue and airtran as well.

It's a very simple process with both airlines. It's no different than if you were a U.S. citizen, as far as I know. Pay for the ticket(s) with your credit card.

With Southwest, as NancyK said, you simply check-in online within 24 hours of your flight, print the boarding pass, and bring it with you to the airport.

With JetBlue, print out the e-mail they send you, which will have a barcode on it. Bring it to the airport, and they will scan the print-out just before boarding.
