I believe this can be done online...is that through the DVC website? How long does it take to receive the voucher? Can we use Disney Rewards card (from Disney Visa) to purchase it? What is the best place in WDW to activate it?

I'm planning to buy them online, but just curious to know if they can the APs also be purchased on Disney property? If so, where? Thank you!!!

Yes, there is a link on the member website to purchase the discount APs. It took a couple of weeks to get our vouchers once they processed the payment.

I used the Rewards card for ours and only had a prolbme with the last one, but once I called they were able to fix it right away. (Nothing big, the information just hadn't gone through correctly.)

Hopefully, someone else can help with the other questions. We haven't activated ours yet, so I'm interested to hear where the best place is too!

I purchased mine online thru the member website. I used my Disney visa to purchase it, no problem. I received the voucher in the mail . I activated it at Guest Services in the Downtown Disney area since we were staying at SSR and that was close by. On the back of the voucher I believe it tells you where you can activate it.

I don't know if it can be purchased on Disney property. I would think maybe at the Ticket and Transportation center at the MK?

As far as I know, they can be purchased at any of the Disney Guest Relations offices at the theme parks and at Downtown Disney.

We activated ours at the MK entrance. We just went to the windows to the right of the entrance and had no problem. They did ask for a driver's license for adults.

We have both purchased, renewed, and activated vouchers for the DVC AP. We did all of our transactions at DTD. Everytime we were asked for a picture ID and our DVC membership cards. We even had a copy of the contract front page since our daughter is on our contract and she and her family can also get DVC APs (she has a DVC membershp card too, but has a different last name). Everything went smoothly each time. We like using DTD GR because you are dealing with a person without the glass between you.

I just ordered our AP's over the phone with MS. They told me it could take up to 3 weeks to receive the voucher. Now I can't wait to use it in April :thumbsup2

I don't want to hijack this thread but have a related question. My family has a one day pass on each of our room keys from our visit this past January at WL. I want to upgrade to an annual pass with our DVC discount. I know I have to wait to purchase the AP at WDW. Can I do this at DTD guest services or must I do it at the DVC due to the room key credit?

Though I haven't done this, I did ask about it and was told yes the value of the one day ticket on the room key can be applied to the purchase of your DVC AP. I wanted to do it with my grandson's ticket, but since it had his name on the ticket, I could only use it for the purchase of his AP, so have it tucked away for later. Go to DTD to do this, because you won't have to talk through the glass like you do at the parks. Much easier, plus the folks in line at DTD are not in a hurry to get into the parks like the guest relations windows at the park.

Thank You!

Just in case anyone wants to know, APs with DVC discount can either be activated or purchased at the International Gate of Epcot. (Important for BCV and BWV owners!)

Regardless of where you purchase or activate, you must have your DVC membership card with you! I was caught a little off guard when asked for it when I activated mine, but fortunately I had it with me.
