We typically have more enough points; however, a trip we plan to take to Aulani is running up short. DVC said we can only purchase 24 points. Is there another way we can purchase more? Ideally, in total, we will need 70 points.

Yes. Once per year, you can transfer points into your account.

Some of the resale stores, like Disboards sponsor The Timeshare Store, offer points for transfer. Or. Look at the DVC boards here, especially the rent/trade board. You have to be logged in to see it.
