Purchasing a second Kindle Fire

I am thinking of purchasing a second Kindle Fire. My son has one and its registered under my name/account. Do I need to create a different account for the second Kindle Fire or should I keep it under the same account?

Keep it under the same account so you can share books and apps without having to pay double for them.

I have 3 Kindles, an iPhone and a PC all on one Amazon account. You don't need to create separate accounts for each Kindle unless you do not want one user to be able to read what another user has purchased.

The only problem that we run into is if someone is reading a book and another one starts reading it too. You cannot have it on two devices at the same time without running into syncing problems. The way to avoid this is to turn off your wireless until one or the other reader has finished the book.
