We purchased retail points at the Polynesian on June 17 (contract settled). The Poly is our primary resort (purchased directly from Disney) so we simply added additional points. We are planning a family vacation in May 2023 and are waiting for the additional points. We were told 30-45 days after contract settled and it's been 90 days. Currently we are in the 11 month window but in October the Poly opens up to all DVC members. I would not have bothered to add the additional points if I knew it would take this long! Frustrating!!!!!

Call member services, you should have your points by now.

You can check when it was registered with Orange County at the below link.

Do you mean "resale?" If you purchased retail (direct from Disney), the points should have been available within hours. If you purchased resale, it usually takes only a few weeks for them to show up. Any number of issues could be causing complications. Did you title the resale the same as the original deed? Does the contract show up in your account, but without any points available?

If the contract shows on your membership but no points, you can chat to get it resolved, too. We got ours fixed that way.

Otherwise, you've some other issue when it doesn't appear there.

I am assuming you mean a resale contract since you mention you were told the contract would be available in your account 30 to 45 days after the contract settled. If you had bought directly from Disney, you would have never been told there was such a wait.

If the contract has not yet shown up in your account, then you probably need to contact the organization or person you bought it through because it sounds like, if it has been 90 days, that something may have gone wrong with having the closing or providing the closing documentation to DVC. That would most likely be the case if you have not yet personally received a copy of the closing documents such as a copy of the deed transferring ownership to you.

Also, just confirming that this resale contract is the same UY as your direct contract with the same titled owners?

If the answer to either of those questions is no, that could also be the reason it's not showing up; it's an entirely different membership.

Even different UYs or owners will show up within the same log in..just show as a different membership

So, one would still see it. I can see all three of my memberships.

So new memberships/UYs will automatically show up to an existing DVC MDE account without that person having to use the "Add New Membership Number" screen?

Unfamiliar with multiple UY management as I own only one.

Correct! When I added on a June UY with VGF points this year, it was there when logging in to DVC.

I bet you can call in and the DVC rep can see them and book the room for you. Worth a shot.
