Purchase tickets evening before park entry?

I'm sure this is a pretty obvious answer, but I'd like someone to confirm it for me. I haven't been to DLR in about 10 years, and when we went someone else purchased our tickets, so I'm not familiar with the purchasing process. We will be arriving in the area in the mid to late afternoon the day before we plan on entering either park. (Planning to have dinner in Downtown Disney.) I have Disney gift cards to purchase our tickets, and don't really want to do it in the morning before we enter the park. Are the ticket booths in the 'courtyard' area between MK and DCA? Will I be able to take my gift cards there on the evening before park entry and buy our tickets? Thanks!

Yes, you can. You could also combine your gift cards on the website (disneygift.com) and then go to disney.go.com and buy them there selecting to pay with a gift card. Select eticket and they will send you an email with a barcode. Pull up the barcode on your phone and go right to the turnstiles where they will issue you a paper ticket. Takes no time at all.

If your going to buy 3 day (or more) park hoppers, buy them on-line before hand so you get the early entry feature. You'll get a print out that you just take to the turn styles.

Thank you for the info. Our visit will be at the end of a 2 week road trip, so I'm holding off on buying the tickets just in case something comes up to interfere with our planned Disney days. We're only getting 2-day tickets, so early entry isn't an issue for us anyway.

There will be at least one ticket booth open in the esplanade (the area between DL and DCA) one hour after the latest park closing, so you should have plenty of time to buy your tickets after dinner.
