Were going to DL for 7 days in May, then likely 2 more trips before next May.
My husband and I have vouchers for Premium Annual passes but need to purchase tickets for our 2 kids.
The Deluxe Annual Pass sounds like the best bet cost wise, but the last day of our May trip is a blackout day (May 9). So, I'm thinking of purchasing a 7 day, using it through the 9th then converting to an annual pass and pay the difference. Otherwise, if I purchase an annual pass from the get go, we won't be able to visit the parks the last day of our trip.:sad1:

Will that work?

Thanks in advance!

also, when you convert to an AP, what do they use as your base price? What you bought it at or their retail price? Do you have to show a receipt if you didn't purchase from them?

Yes, you can upgrade to a Deluxe AP on your last day, even if it is a block out day. The price you paid for the ticket is embedded into the bar code, so they will charge you the difference between the hopper and the AP you are upgrading to.
