Can you purchase an Express Pass at either of the parks during your visit? We are thinking of not purchasing in advance and waiting to see what the crowds are like first. If you can purchase, do you know the price? Thanks!:goodvibes

Yes you can and the price is decided according to the anticipated crowd level for that day.

Here's the website link...look at the calendar and see how much it is on the day you're going:

defo the best way unless there is a chance of a sell out-which except for peak hols and such there shoudlnt be a prob, im purcashing in advanced for september just because i will do anything to avoid lines!! im so impatient lol:rotfl2:

As stated above, express passes can sell-out for a specific day so you may be out of luck if the park is crowded.

I'm so confused. On the Universal site it quotes a 7 day 2 park express pass. I must be reading this wrong. Can anyone help?

"Skip the regular lines at participating rides and attractions throughout the theme parks with a Universal Express Plus Pass!

Enjoy up to seven (7) consecutive days admission to both Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure® theme parks AND Universal Express access to skip the regular lines as many times as you’d like at participating rides and attractions in BOTH theme parks - per person, per ticket.

Note: This ticket is only available online and is not available at the front gate of either theme park.

The quote is $260 per adult and it is good through 8/31/09.

This ticket is the VIP ticket which includes your park admission and Express access for seven days. Depending on when you're going, it may not be worth it purchase the Express because the lines won't warrant it.

This ticket is different from the regular tickets and includes park admission...that's why it's so much more expensive.

We will be going in the month of July 2010 for ten days. I think I will need the FOTL. I thought about going to HRH for the end of the trip for two nights, but I want flexibility in when I go to US. I did some number crunching with this years prices and it will cost me about $200 more to get the VIP 7 day pass.
