Hi! My golden retreiver puppy (3 months) was diagnosed with puppy strangles this week. She's on meds and is beginning recovery, but I'm wondering if any fellow Dis'ers are familiar with this illness and since it is caused from a weak immune system, what the long term affects are? And, what can be done to help build up their systems. Thanks for any advice!
I am sorry to hear that! Poor puppy. I never had heard of it so I looked it up. Sounds very rough for recovery.

Thank you for the PD, she needs all she can get. Fortunately, she's responding really well to the steroids and antibiotics, but the sores around her muzzle and in her ears look so darn sore. We're giving her lots of TLC. Recovery is a long process, but whatever takes to get her better is all that matters to us!
