OK i'm already thinking NYE

We have a party every year at my house....

I always forget the "recipe" i used the year before..

Do u have a great recipe to share? please do - with alcohol...thanks!

FYI - i will be making "jello shots" as well - those are always a hit - this year making

Whipped Vodka/Orange Jello = Creamsicle

Sour Apple Schnapps/Watermelon Jello = Jolly Rancher

What kind of punch are you looking for?

Could do a tropical deal - pineapple juice, couple limes squeezed in, light rum and you can float coconut milk and garnish with pineapple wedges if you're putting it out in glasses.

I saw a pomegranite champagne punch recipe someplace if you're serving in a bowl and want to do champagne - think it was equal parts pom and light rum, couple bottles of champagne, little simple syrup and garnish with pomegranate seeds, obvs. That'd be pretty.

i think Champagne Punch since it will be NYE - and i have a large clear punch bowl so want it to look pretty :)

Milk punch
1 gallon vanilla ice cream- more for a large crowd, softened
bourbon at least 1 cup- again more for a large crowd
My recipe calls for 1 tsp of vanilla but I don't like it. Also, you could add some half n half or milk to cut it some. It's the "dish" everyone always asks me to bring.
I put the ice cream, bourbon, and a little milk in my kitchen aid mixer. It's great to do a day or two before. Stick it in the freezer and take it out a couple of hours before the party.

My (In)famous Pink Punch

In a container that holds at least 13 quarts:

1/2 Gallon Raspberry Sherbet
1 thawed 12oz container of red Hawaiian Punch concentrate
8oz or 12oz jar Maraschino Cherries (including the juice)
2 liters 7-Up (or other lemon-lime soda)
2 liters Ginger Ale
2 liters blush wine
2 liters 80 proof vodka

Let it age at least ten minutes. Note that it is very sweet and smooth. It calculates out to about 19 proof (9.5% alcohol by volume), which is about the same as a fortified wine.

Lambrusco Punch

Ingredients
2 (12 ounce) cans frzn lemonade
Add in 1 can water for each can of lemonade
1 lg. bottle red Lambrusco wine
1 reg. bottle Rose wine(optional)
1 lg. bottle grapefruit or possibly 7-Up soda(I use diet)
1 pkg. frzn strawberries or possibly raspberries(optional)

It's delicious!!!!

Pink Lemonade Vodka Punch

1 12-oz. can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
3 12-oz. chilled bottles of beer (can use lite beer)
3/4 c. vodka, chilled(optional)

Stir all ingredients together in a pitcher or punchbowl with ice. Garnished with fresh or frozen fruit, if desired.

Also delicious!!!

tHANKS..i googled a simple one i might use:

2 bottles pink Champagne
1 bottle Gingerale
frozen bag strawberries - thawed
orange juice jello mold to float and keep cold...

Here's my "go to" punch---so easy---and it's always gone!

3- bottles of cherry 7-Up
1 pint of rasberry sherbert
1/2 of "cake" vodka

I had a party last week and made up the punch with just 7-up and sherbert and had the vodka on the side so adults could add it at will. Only problem--many folks made them really strong--but they enjoyed them!

THIS Sounds so YUMMY! might try this instead :)

How long does this last? we are going to a party with only 10 or so people so it may be drank out of all night, or should we half it? I guess what I mean, is it better fresh and used up right after made? Also do you think White Zin will work?

How big are the 7-up bottles? 2liters? How big is the vodka bottle? I just want to make sure I do this right....LOL
