We are leaving for the World in 8 days (yay) and I was wondering if any of you that are there now or just came back have noticed any pumpkin flavored cocktails at any of the lounges or TS places.

I had a pumpkin martini at the WL back in 06 and I still dream about it

We just came back Monday evening and I didn't notice any cocktails out of the norm. We were there mainly for Food and Wine Festival, but we did have drinks at CBR and YC, neither of which had pumpkin cocktails. We ate at Chefs de France and Sci Fi and it was the same drink menu both places as well.

Resort lounges tend not to do specialty drinks anymore (or at least not to put them on menus - some resorts still do). Their menus are standardized and I think the menu changes out in October, so it may be different now than it was in the past year.

I remember them doing seasonal specials but I haven't seen that this year.

You could always ask the bartender. They'll make whatever you want if they have the ingredients.

Ooh a pumpkin smoothie sounds good too!

This martini was so good, it was like a spiked smooth pumkin pie...just to die for

We will be visiting many lounges and TS places very soon so maybe one of them can re-create this for me...if they have pumpkin on hand

I'd guess they weren't using real pumpkin, but flavored syrup. It'd be down to whether or not they have pumpkin syrup.

No it was a fresh pumpkin puree.....made the martini a bit thicker than normal....but I will not be choosy as long as it is boozy! :rotfl:

I'm pretty sure it was Grey Goose, ice cream mix and Monin pumpkin spice syrup aka the "Pumpkin Spice Martini". My wife had a few of these the past two years - she was hoping that it would be back when we go next week. They were listed on the first pages of the standardized drink book as a seasonal special.
