Pumpkin Juice...stupid question of the day

Is it actual pumpkin juice? I know Butterbeer is A)not made from butter and B) not actually beer, and if I understand correctly has a butterscotchy taste? But what about the pumpkin juice?

Cause I hate pumpkin pie.

And is there an alcoholic version of butterbeer?

It does have pumpkin puree, and while butterbeer does not taste like butter or beer, pumpkin juice tastes like pumpkin (like a thick cider with pumpkin flavoring).

There is no alcoholic version of butterbeer served in park however this website includes a recipe to make your own at home:

I'm reading the ingredients straight out of the bottle,water,apple juice concentrate,pumpkin purée,apricot purée,sugar,natura and artificial flavors,citric acid,acesulfame potassium and sodium benzoate.It is 81% juice,probably mostly apple and yes I kept the bottle as a souvenir.I prefer the taste of butterbeer,the pumpkin juice did nothing for me,it's like a hot cider with a slight taste and smell of pumpkin.

BE CAREFUL...frozen butterbeer rocks!!! Once you try it, for some reason, you get drawn in and start craving it. Just be sure to have your "fix" before going to the other side of the park or US.

Loved the frozen version, but it is very sweet. We had a thirsty group of four, but found it so sweet that one butterbeer satisfied all of our curiousities and even though we drank as much as wanted, we still couldnt finish it. A little goes a long way....

I've had the regular butterbeer and the pumpkin juice,however neither one was cold,at best slightly cool.I enjoyed the butterbeer but would've liked it better cold,I doubt I would get the pumpkin juice again,I just didn't like it,even if it was cold.I'll try the frozen butterbeer next time I go.

BTW.. pumpkin juice $6.25 from the carts....save 62.5 cents by buying this in Honeydukes using your AAA card. My 10 year old loves it and had one every morning of our 7 day stay

I thought that the Pumpkin Juice would be more appropriate on a hay ride, or something. It wasn't terrible, but for the price I would rather buy 2 butterbeers.
