Can someone advise me as to what bedding is availble for the pull out sofas. I am thinking it may be easier to just pack snuggle sacs for girls as it will make it quicker and easier to put the beds away each day.

The bedding is already on the sofa. It is very easy to take in and out. We just leave in on. No problems doing that. Good luck with you trip.

As to whether the pull out is already made-up, that seems to depend upon which resort and sofa type is in the room.

If the sofa isn't made up, there should be sheets, a blanket, and pillows in a closet.

We have always found the bedding for the pullout in the master bedroom closet. I do agree that snug sacks would be the easier option, and if you are at OKW, each girl could use them on a sofa without even pulling it out. We have often had children utilize both the sofa and love seat that way at OKW.

Our DS2 always sleeps on the sleeper. He loves putting it away each morning.:goodvibes I think it would actually be more hassle to put away sleeping bags than just folding up the couch with the sheets and blanket still on. The couches at AKV (saw your post on the resort forum) are of the style with slots to put the pillows so there is no clutter once the bed is folded up.

For future reference, the sofabeds at BWV are this type as well. Sheets, blanket are on the bed and pillows stored in a slot under the mattress. Also, sofa cushions stay on the sofa as the bed opens and closes, so no need to deal with them. And the bed is comfortable! Couldn't be easier!

At OKW they had all bedding supplies in a closet, ready to be placed on a bed. You may want to use the sleeping bags on the sofas.. might be easier.

Have a great time!

What are SSR sofabeds like?

Just returned from our first visit to BCV, and the new sofabeds are GREAT! Our 17 year old son slept in it all 5 nights, and said it was very comfortable.

Sheets were on it when we arrived. 2 pillows and a blanket were stuffed in slots that you could get when you converted the sofa into the bed.

Very different way of opening the sofa; first time I had ever seen a sofabed like this one. Instructions are on the sofabed when you arrive, and very easy to follow.

This is really useful information, thanks. If the beds can be left made up and then folded away I don't think I will bother with the snuggle sacs, it will save space in the luggage for all the goodies we will want to take home :rotfl:

Does anyone have any pictures of the pulls outs :)

Are there two pillows for the sofa bed at SSR?? We go in 10 days and my kids want to bring their own pillows lol, but I keep telling them they will have pillows and we don't have room to pack them. :confused3

Is the sofa bed safe for a 4 and 2 year old to sleep on? Does the metal stick out? Could they roll inbetween the mattress and sofa?
Thanks- the concerned parent!

adding on to the list of questions here...

does anyone know if the foam mattresses can be taken out of the sofa beds? We're going to be in a one BR, and I'd like to put the foam on the floor in the BR, so my kids could sleep in the same room as us, in order to leave the LR area free for adult time after they go to bed.:dance3:
