I can't figure out how to get rid of this fungus(or whatever it is) that keeps showing up in my flower beds. I don't water @ night but when I water I see clouds of "smoke" seems to maybe be spores. There are also very stinky mushrooms popping up. How do I get rid of this problem. :confused3

Gosh, this one's hard to say....what are you using for fertilizer? We use manure so we will get mushrooms. Could it be pollen?

Sometimes this happens in our wood chip mulch. I don't have an answer, they eventually die out.

Could it be the round mushrooms? We used to call them "puff balls". When they go to spore, they are basically a ball of dust that will puff out the top when disturbed.

A nice rich damp garden is perfect for growing mushrooms. :)
