We were also less than thrilled with VN. We had to send our pizzas back for being black on the bottom also. That's crazy that you can't share.

I told my DH I want to try an avocado margarita while we're there. He was surprised and my DS said "Mommy, you don't drink!" I told them both I just think it looks good!!

I think if we were paying OOP, they probably would have let us share, but they insisted that they had to charge us 4 dining credits for that meal. We have NEVER had a problem with that at any other Disney restaurant and I was so mad. We won't go back. 'Nuff said.

It really is a good margarita. I bet they would make it "virgin" if you are not a drinker. I don't think it had a heavy alcohol taste, but your tolerance might be different than mine. Worth asking about in any case.

Yes, we were able to share paying OOP, but we had the opposite problem with the delivery of our food. DS got is pizza quickly (thankfully it was not burned!!) but the rest of us waited . . . and waited . . . and waited, until finally our server came by and said the kitchen had misplaced our ticket and were just starting to prepare our order! It was one of those things, I wasn't too upset cause we didn't have any time constraints, but it certainly wasn't ideal.

Not every experience at Disney is going to be good, but we had heard such great things about Via Napoli that I think we set our expectations too high. Thanks for stopping by !!

I think it is unacceptable to deliver the main entrees separately as well. They should at least TELL you it is going to happen. that would make it better, I think.

We split meals all of the time. The only places that won't let you split are the all-you-can-eat places like buffets or Whispering Canyon or Ohana's - you know those type place. Via Napoli is the ONLY one that ever told us we couldn't do it.

I definitely want to try Tutto.

The avocado margarita is very interesting and good. Not your normal margarita for sure, but still refreshing.

Via Napoli is the only one that told us no - EVER. I mean we knew better than to ask at the all-you-can-eat places. We split almost every meal. QS and TS. It stretches out your credits and you don't feel like you are eating too much or wasting food. The kids almost never eat all of theirs, so we never feel like we didn't get enough food. We feel like you can squeeze an extra TS meal and an extra QS meal out of every trip by sharing.

I had a bagel or something for breakfast and tried to get the kids to eat something, but I don’t remember how successful I was.

We were at Magic Kingdom on this day and about 10:30 or so:

The kids wanted to use some snack credits so we went to Auntie Gravities to get some root beer floats.

Very yummy and enjoyable. The kids really like these as well. The soft serve you get at this location is excellent. Nice and smooth with some weight to it. So you know it is the real thing.

I would definitely give this a Mrs. Incredible rating.

This kind of snack just makes you feel full and happy.

Our Lunch on this day was Liberty Tree Tavern.

And even though they were pretty crowded, they said since we had a reservation, we could get seated right away, no problem. We were a little worried about our sharing strategy after the previous night’s debacle at Via Napoli, but our waiter said it was fine that we shared and he said they should have let us share at Via Napoli as well. He said they don’t have any such policy about not sharing. So it was all good. We were starving so we ordered quickly.

DS got Angus Chuck Cheeseburger - topped with bacon and cheddar or mushrooms and provolone served with fresh fruit or tavern fries (without the mushrooms of course)

These are my favorite kind of fries. Kinda thick, but still cooked until they are crunchy on the outside. I made sure he “shared” some with me. LOL.

DH and I split the New England Pot Roast... Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite - braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables.

They even split it up for us so this was just MY half. Can you see how much food this is ?? I was so happy we split it. And it was out of this world good. So simple and homey. We loved it.

DD ordered Choice of 1 Appetizer, 1 entree and 1 dessert - $8.59

I thought this was a really good selection for the kids here. She got the sliced apples, Macaroni and Ice cream sundae.

Don’t you just love the sprinkles ?? All patriotic and stuff.

DS ordered the Seasonal No Sugar Added Sorbet - with berries (flavor was Raspberry)

Very light and refreshing. And the berries were really good.

DH and I split the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake - vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce

This was sooooo fantastic !! It was a heavy dessert, but sooo yummy !! We very much enjoyed it. Our waiter was one of the best and we really enjoyed our meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. We will definitely go back for sure.

This gets a Mrs. Incredible rating for sure.

And in regard to LTT, we had lunch there a couple of years ago and tried the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. I was very surprised when out of the 6 of us, not one single person really liked it. It was stone-cold, as in straight out of the fridge cold. Therefore it was not at all "Ooey Gooey" as its name implies. So now I'm wondering if your cake was served warm? I'm thinking that maybe they forgot to heat ours up first???

Yes !! Ours was warm and gooey and melty and delicious. Maybe they did forget to heat yours up.

The zeppoles were definitely yummy .... but not enough to go back.

So we have another trip coming up soon in Septmember. The 7th-14th. We are staying at Wilderness Lodge Villas. We had only planned on taking two trips this year, but we had RCI points that were going to expire and I was able to snag a DVC resort, and it is right before our AP's expire.

I keep going back & fourth w/ LTT. I really enjoy the regular salad they have there so I would not want anything besides that & the OGTC,of course. Seems like they are pretty accommodating so maybe I'll rebook it after all.

Remember that this is only the lunch menu that has this stuff. The dinner is the Pilgrim's Feast thingy.
