Does anyone know if Wolfgang Puck's Express is a CS? It is listed as such but the menu seems far to expansive for that to be true?

I am searching for some unusal CS places to try on o ur upcoming trip.

Thank you for any help. Where would I be without you? :confused3 Stuck in a long line at IASW without a Fast Pass probably. :rotfl2:

According to the Disney dining plan guide, it is a CS. I have heard that some of the items are restricted on DP. Some folks have reported only being able to order sandwiches, salads or pizzas, and being limited on dessert choices. Personally, I still think it is a great deal for CS (plus I've heard their pizza is great!). We are planning on trying it on our trip. JJ

This won our best CS of the Christmas trip, and best breakfast anywhere, including the character buffets. They are super about telling you what you can have, think only one or two items were retricted, and the food was FABULOS!

We had the cornflake french toast (Awesome, garnished with fresh berries) the breatfast pizza, (Huge, applewood roasted, want one right now) two sides (bacon and hash browns I believe) and two large bottles of Juice. we used two CS credits, and the bill would have been just over $40. (Which in my opinion after eating it would have been worth every penny) Don't know why more hasn't been written about this great CS,
thanks

My this does sound good. I would love to hear more about it.

Has any one used their CS credits for lunch or dinner?

Is this an eat in place? Can you do carry out?

If eat in...what is the atmosphere like?

:thumbsup2

You can dine in, or carry out, there are a few tables both inside and on the patio. We saw several take out, we ate in, and had a nice view of the small kitchen, and were able to watch the chefs. They were very nice when we were there, The lunch and dinner menu looked awesome, although I believe there are certain DP restrictions. We just asked what we could have up front, and there were no problems. I think we did have to wait a few minutes for them to open, but we were treated nicely and...did I mention the food was FABULOUS!?!

I think this is a counter service too. We ate here on our trip in Nov 2004 and plan to go back in two weeks-- it was AWESOME. You order your food and then sit down and they serve it to you. It has shaded outdooor seating.

The portions are very large and you could easily split them. I can't remember what my DH had, but I had a pizza (enough for 2/3 people) and my DD4 had the kids chicken fingers-- great food!

have a great trip- jen

This place is awesome! We loved the pizza and the mac 'n' cheese! It is already on the schedule for our trip in September!

I was looking at the map and there is a Wolf Express in the Market and one on the westside - they both are called Wolfgarn Express are they the same (meaning do the serve the same items and can you use the DP at both)

Thanks

Only the WPE at Marketplace is on the DP for CS. WPC on the west side is on the DP for a TS.

:goodvibes

Thank you. I just figured out where to have breakfast our last day.

You guys are the greatest! Thank you all so very much! My rules for my 20 CS and 20 TS (yep, you read right- we are so lucky) are to try places that we have never been to and might not otherwise try. This sounds like a winner.

I promise to repay you all by taking my trusty camera to any and all eating occasions. :thumbsup2

We ate there twice on our last Chrsitmas trip and loved it! One of them was a take~out. They did have restrictions on the menu though, but what we did get was GREAT!!

We ate there in January and the only thing that we couldn’t have on the DDP was 2 dishes, I remember one was the ravioli because that was what I wanted. The food was very good and portions wore equal of table service. It’s a definite on our upcoming trip in September.

Do you happen to remember what the restrictions were?

does anyone remember if the rosemary roasted chicken was allowed on DDP? i saw a pic of that on another thread and it looks soo good...

I would also like to know what the restrictions are. We were planning on eating here in May. We are going to still eat here but I would like to be prepared.

Subbing - this is on our list of possibles to eat at also. thanks for the info everyone!

Well, I answered my own question. I called Wolfgang Express and she said the only restrictions are the Ravioli and Meatloaf for the entrees and the fruit cup for dessert. I don't see any of these items on the allears menu, so I didn't even know they were available.

And of course, you can't get any alcholic beverage or specialty drinks for your drink.

But besides that, she said all items are included. No disappointments for me :thumbsup2 we'll still eat here in May.

No problem! I'm an obsessive planner and thought it would be easier to call and let everyone know.

If you see us, say hi!! We still look the same as the picture :teeth: !!
