Publix Birthday Cakes

Hello, I am thinking about getting a 1/4 sheet dinosaur birthday cake for my son from Publix. Is one week enough notice? I would have ordered it earlier but I got caught up planning other things for our trip instead of this. Also, have you tried any of the fillings? I am somewhat interested in the cannoli or vanilla custard.

Yes, one week is more than enough. Most of the specialty cakes require at least 48 hours, but if they are hit with a lot of orders on that day specialty cakes may require longer. So I wouldn't hesitate and you should call in that order in ASAP. I hope your son has a very happy birthday. BTW, I never had a bad cake from Publix and had the filled ones before but not cannoli or custard so I can give you an opinion for those 2. Also, you find out in time that if the Publix you ordering from carries that cake pattern. I have found that some Publix locations do not carry some the patterns you see on-line.
