My dear sister just called me from her honeymoon! She got married last weekend. It was a gorgeous wedding on a very small budget. So like anyone on her honeymoon...she writes a book! It's about how she pulled off a gorgeous wedding on a very small budget.
Now she wants to know what her next step would be to try and get it published. Yes she is aware that it's not likely, but her attitude is "give it a try."
Do you just send in the book, an outline, the first chapter? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Obviously, she doesn't have an agent either. I know many companies don't accept unagented (or unsolicited) books, so any info would be greatly appreciated.
