When you start a thread that is date-specific, where you might include one of the terms "Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday, This Week, Just or Now" (or anything similar) in the title, please include the specific date, such as Dec 13.
For example, instead of saying "Crowds Very Heavy Yesterday" The title would be "Crowds Very Heavy Dec 12", or instead of saying "Heavy Rain Expected This Week" the title would be "Heavy Rains Expected Dec 14 - 17". This way when people are scanning titles they are more aware of the actual time frame being referred to instead of having to look at the actual post.
Similarly, if you are referring to a specific incident, such as an accident or injury, please also include the date in the title.
This has been a Public Service Announcement. Please pay attention to it and follow it.
If you are one of the thread starters, go to your first post, click on <EDIT> and then at the next screen click on <ADVANCED> and it will take you to where you can edit your title.
And, yes, I know that looking at he thread itself does show the date posted. However to see that it requires clicking on the post and then, if not applicable, going back to the Index. For people scanning large Forums this speeds up the scan as they don't have to click on non-current items to see when the poster is talking about.
Thanks!
