Public Printer.

Of course when I want our printer at home to work, it doesn't. Does anyone know if you can take your laptop to any variety store or like Staples and plug it into the printer to work or even a USB cable will plug in?

I'm pretty sure Stapes can't print anything for you, just photocopying. I don't have a printer(it broke), so when I need to print something I go to the library and use one of their computers. Our library charges $0.25 per page, but I think its worth it.

You have a couple options here:
1) You can save the file you want to print onto a flash drive and then take it into Staples and they'll print it off for you. If it's not a common document type, you can save it as a PDF and take the PDF with you.

2) You can log into the Staples online printing centre (staplescopyandprint.ca), upload the file and tell them which store to print it at. They'll print it and you just go pick it up. I use this if I'm doing a presentation out of town. I print all my hand-outs at the Staples where I'm doing the presentation and pick it up when I get there instead of lugging the printouts on the plane with me. Works really well.

Thank you ccudmore for that info! I guess its been a while since I tried to print anything at Staples. Last time I asked, they said no.

You can do the same thing at Fedex! I've printed stuff off a usb key there before.
