PTR turned TR for the most magical and expensive vacation I've ever been on!

4 days...omg I can hardly stand it! I started crying while I was packing cuz I was thinking about what to wear each day based on what we're doing. I got a Bop It on ebay. That'll do a great job at annoying everyone else in line

Thanksgiving a whole ton of people go together and made food. It is still one of the best Thanksgiving meals I've ever had. There were some fantastic cooks hiding in Vista Way

well I'm done with classes and final packing has begun! Here's the rundown
1. My camcorder won't work! Damnit! That's what I get for checking it two days before my trip. It's been in storage for several months, maybe even a year. The touch display wont work and theres no video through the view finder either. I'm not terribly disappointed but it does suck. You never know when you want to capture something on tape(like drinking around the world)
2. We're taking a cooler and filling it with ice. We're gonna eat subway on the road and buy them ahead of time. We'll then use the cooler for alcohol drink supplies in our hotel room.
3. weather still looks great! It makes packing difficult when theres nearly a 30degree difference between night and day. My solution: pack it all!
4. All maps, info, and confirmations have been printed!
5. Tomorrow I'll fill up with gas, get ice, take my camcorder to Best Buy, and hope my bop it and sunpass get here.

less than 36 hours!

another tip that i learned from our trip back in may......this was our first trip together and my first trip since i was 15. so i had this big, glorious, perfect vacation built up in my mind. on our second day we were at epcot and i could tell ray (my DH) was not having a good time at all and i had a little pity party for myself (you know....crying, sulking, the general female meltdown), but then i decided to dump our plans and go to MK instead (which is where he really wanted to go) and we had a blast the rest of the trip. i learned that sometimes things don't go the way you always plan that they will and you just kinda have to wing it. i just wanted to pass that along to you!

i'm sure you guys will have a magical trip!!!!!!! SAFE TRAVELS!

Yeah this is something I've thought over very very hard. I've chosen when to go where based on my blackout dates and EMH that are available. We've both talked and agreed we won't let schedule ruin things! I'm all about being spontaneous on this trip. All that I care is that I'm with him and sharing the experience with him. That's the most important thing and as long as we stick to that we'll be in good shape.

edit: in my experience, this "perfect glourius day" also happens with brides and weddings. No wedding is perfect, I've DJed enough of them to know. It's all about the experience. That's part of the reason I wanna make sure I'm laid back. I see how upset ppl get at the smallest things

It was New Years Eve and after drinking from Mexico to Morocco we decided to take a nap. The grassy area was just past Morocco. We had seen people laying there a few days earlier and thought we'd do the same. We both fell asleep and when we woke up, there were at least 5 other couples around us! Unfortunately the reason we woke up is that it started to pour. We grabbed ponchos and continued our quest to drink around the world.
