So it's time for my third PTR of the year.... my friends and colleagues have stopped asking where I'm going on holiday. Nobody can say I'm not making the most of my annual pass.

You'll all be sick looking at my happy face in trip report photos :cool1:

The cast
Me (Lisa) 24
My friend Anna from work, 22, a Disney newbie but I'm confident she will love it!

The logistics
Eurostar London-Paris Saturday 24th Nov
2 days/1 night in Paris, staying near the Eiffel Tower
Train to Marne La Vallee late on Sunday 25th Nov
2 days/2 nights at The Radisson, DLP
Eurostar DLP-London evening of Tuesday 27th Nov

Managed to do all this on quite a low budget - £69 each for return Eurostar, £40 each for the 3* hotel in Paris, and £90 each for 2 nights at Radisson. I've got my AP and we will buy Anna's 2 day hopper on the gate with discount.

The reason
CHRISTMAS! JOY! That's all. :santa:

The meals
Anna is a princess :bride: and wants only the best. So this trip will include my first EVER visit to Inventions! We will eat there on the Monday evening - I'm really excited.
I plan to have a late lunch/early dinner at Walts on the Tuesday. Not quite so budget on the meals :thumbsup2

Must do's
Bloomin' Crush... grr, it's evaded me every time this year
ALL the christmas stuff
Dreams on Monday night
Lots of fudge popcorn::
Oh, and everything else! You know me, I'll fit it all in.

:santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa::santa:

I'm really excited now!

Sounds fab :thumbsup2

Check that Walt's is open as it's often closed Mon and Tue out of season/school holidays :(

Yay! PTR time!! :cool1:

Where do you buy your fudge? DD is a bit of a fudge-a-holic! :rotfl2:

You know you want to come to the park on Sunday and have lunch in Inventions with us...!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

And we never get tired of your TRs & photos (a little jealous maybe...!) :goodvibes

Wow so somehow the first day of my holiday has sneaked up on me! I'm just getting last bits organised before getting the train to London at 1pm. Seeing family in London tonight, then meeting Anna at St Pancras for the Eurostar in the morning!

I haven't actually done much planning....but I've got a feeling I'll sort that out during my 4.5 hour train journey this afternoon. I've printed the park schedule and squealed with excitement at the christmassy musical offerings and the fact that Jack Skellington is around! One positive of being too busy to keep up with things - I'm pleasantly surprised. Off to look at a few recent trip reports and get even more excited. Literally can't believe it's here!! :cool1:

Bit later than usual, but I've got my plan together now.

Saturday 24th Nov

9am Meet at St Pancras to get breakfast and check in
10.30am Eurostar to Paris
1.45pm Arrive Paris, travel to hotel to check in and freshen up, spend the afternoon sightseeing
8pm (ish) Go to Latin Quarter for dinner and a jazz club

Sunday 25th Nov
Check out in the morning and take luggage to Gare de Lyon station left luggage
Morning sightseeing.
2pm Meeting friends who live in Paris for lunch
6pm (ish) Get the train from Gare de Lyon to Marne La Vallee
7.30pm Get shuttle from train station to Radisson, check in. Dinner at the Radisson using 2for1 voucher we got through Expedia booking
Possible drinks in Disney village afterwards - I'd like to show Anna some of the Disney hotels if we've got the energy.

Monday 26th Nov
First ever trip without EMH as Anna will be buying 2 day hopper :(
8.30am Get shuttle to Village, breakfast at Starbucks (as we don't think our Radisson booking includes breakfast) and buy Anna's park tickets
9.30am Into Disneyland Parc!
Might join in with the madness of Frontierland rope drop after stopping by City Hall to make restaurant reservations. Need to do: BTM, Pirates, IASW, Star Tours, Peter Pan, Buzz.
Lunch at wherever is open and with a small queue. Realism is needed with mid-week restaurant openings.
3pm Mickey's Christmas Brass thing - sounds fun!
4.30pm Parade
6.15pm Tree lighting ceremony
7pm Dreams
8pm Dinner at Inventions (hopefully, if we can get a reservation)

Tuesday 27th Nov

8am Check out, hoping to store luggage using my Dream AP
9am Probably breakfast at Starbucks again
9.30am Studios - attempt to get on Crush!
Stay in the Studios til mid afternoon. Need to do: ToT, RnRC, Stars n Cars, RC Racer, Stitch Live, Cinemagique.
3.30pm Meal at Walts (again hoping it's not shut)
6.15pm Tree lighting ceremony
7pm Train to Paris
9pm Eurostar from Paris back to London
