PTR - Seaworld, DCL, WDW in October 2014

Surprisingly, we enjoyed Crush N Gusher. And my back fanny had a great old time in the 3 person tube. I think our CM that loaded us on checked our...er....bottom positions and got us to shift back and forth until he was satisfied. :beach:

Not sure if I don't want to do it because it will hurt or because the CM will be checking out my personal floatation device (my bottom!) Just booked 1900 park fare - a 10:30 breakfast is our only plan for the day;) we will spend the afternoon at DTD or relaxing at the resort by the pool. Meanwhile I'm sitting here rugged up with a cup of tea and a box of tissues sneezing and coughing. Bring on the Florida sun!

Keep warm this weekend. Hope you feel better soon. :flower3:

Your ADR list is looking fantastic.

CJ2001 - I had 7 full days at Disney on my last trip. I carved it up by 1.5 days MK, 1.5 - 2 days Ep, 1/2 day DTD, 1 day AK, 1 day DHS and 1 day at a water park. It was my 4th trip to WDW and I didn't feel like I had to do everything.

You can do UO in 2 days; but it is better to allocate 3 days so that you can really enjoy it all. I do tend to recommend staying on-site at the UO hotels because of proximity and also for the Unlimited Express Pass, and early entry for WWoHP privileges. Others might have a different opinion....it will come down to what works for you. You might want to keep an eye out for deals on the UO hotels. They tend to offer 30 - 40% discount if you stay a minimum of 3 nights on site.

Your plans look great. And if I could be so bold to say so......you might want to consider starting a PTR/TR for your trip. That way, we can all cheer along the sidelines and if you have questions like this, anyone who wants to contribute can answer and you will know where to come back to if you need to reference the answers at a later date. No pressure...totally up to you, of course.

Thanks PIO, I am looking at Universal accommodation atm, &'am really considering on site for express pass. Looking at 3 nights but can only fit in 2 days at Universal.

Thanks I didn't even think of the PTR, got so much going on in my head & am asking questions all over the place! Will put together all my plans, got so many spreadsheets going on & keep trying to show hubby & kids but no one is interested, at least you all might be!!

You're one of the lucky ones my friend. :rotfl:

I think we may have been okay had DS been bigger and not started slipping through the hole. He was screaming in pain and I had to sit upright to grab him putting the full force of my backside onto those horrible little grating holes that shoot water up the slide. Not pleasant to say the least.

Firstly staying onsite at Universal is worth it's weight in gold. I rave about it in my blog.

Secondly, starting your own PTR is a great idea. Everyone here is more than happy to help, but your questions can sometimes get a bit lost if they are posted within someone else's PTR.

Lol. the bottom comment sounds like something I would say.

I hope you begin to feel better soon. It stinks feeling sick in the weekend.

Thanks for the well wishes:)

CJ2001 - having a PTR is a great way to store info but if you want to share along in mine here you are more than welcome:)

Yes, that would be it. My DS is a lot bigger; which is probably why we enjoyed the ride. He's now capable of taking the raft up the stairs without help.

Ouch! That does not sound pleasant.

Thanks Wanderlust I read your blog about Hard Rock Cafe and that has convinced me to stay onsite :thumbsup2

Yes its a good idea for a PTR with everything all in the one place :)

Biergarten booked! Looks like a lot of fun:)

One more booking to make tonight - lunch in the castle! We went to CRTon our last WDW day last trip, so I wanted to continue the tradition:)

Cool. I loved Biergarten. The food was mediocre, but the atmosphere more than made up for it. Have you researched the band times? They don't play constantly and from memory their first lunch show isn't till quite late. So it pays to find out the band times and make a booking for about 20-30mins beforehand. This gives you time to get seated, get some food, get a stein of beer (or in my case a radler) for toasting and then sit down and enjoy the show. :thumbsup2

From what I saw they play at 5:55 and our booking is for 5:30pm so I hoped that would work well.

The times I found were from 18 months ago, couldn't find anything recent. Hope they haven't changed!

MNSSHP booked! And CRT for our last day booked:)

Seriously questioning if we will go to MVMCP. We went last time so we have seen the parade and the fireworks which we loved but at approx $300 it's a lot to repeat something. We are going to MNSSHP for the first time and we are going on a day we would not otherwise have a park ticket for so the cost doesn't seem so bad.

Will sleep on it, would love to hear opinions!

Dabecs - When will be the next time you head back to WDW? I know it's $300 but if I were in your shoes, I would maximise every opportunity to enjoy the best of Disney. Besides....how cool would it be to see Halloween turn into Christmas in your pictures?

Congrats on all your ADRs. :thumbsup2
