Hello!

This is my first PTR. I am so inspired by the TRs and PTRs of many of the DISers, and so thought I would do my own for our upcoming October 2015 trip.

The details
The trip: Four days (maybe five) at WDW, on property, location TBD
The people: DH and I, plus DM and DF, and maybe some other guests
Why: BECAUSE IT'S DISNEY! Plus, we've never tried the Food and Wine Festival or Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Once I talked DH into annual passes (we took a Jan 2015 trip), he was all about maximizing our use and getting a new experience.

Oh, you want to know a little about me? Well okay...

Lifelong Disney fan (of course!) and lifelong Disney planner. One of my favorite memories of WDW is the first time we took an extended family trip there and I worked with my aunt to create an itinerary book using cut out pictures from my Disney Adventures magazines. I think I was 8.
Favorite attractions at WDW, 1 per park: Splash Mountain, The American Adventure (yes, really), Toy Story Mania, Festival of the Lion King.
Character I'm most like: Rapunzel
Favorite Characters: Belle, Rapunzel, and EVERYONE in Robin Hood
Favorite Disney Restaurant: Be Our Guest *sighs of happiness*
Favorite Disney Treat: Dole Whip!

So... I'll update as I make arrangements, but mostly I am VERY interested in hearing from DISers about your tips for Food and Wine and MNSSHP. I'll also try and post links to any great threads about these two topics.

So we're booked at the Art of Animation in the Lion King Suites!! Very excited, because I can set my phone up to play the opening every morning...

:goodvibes

Here's a question for Food and Wine goers: We're thinking about not making ADRs this trip, and to just eat a lot over at EPCOT. But, given our dates (10/14-10/18), I wonder how crowded Food and Wine will be?

Avoid EPCOT on the 17th if possible - Saturdays and Sundays are very busy with locals. F&W is a very popular event!
