Where did the time go?!

We leave in 2 weeks. My ticker is off, since we're going a day earlier than originally planned. I don't want to change my ticker though, because it shows the countdown from 5 months ago!

It looks like DH & I will each take a large suitcase. We're concerned about having enough room to bring stuff back home.

I was going to wait to put up our Christmas tree when we get back from WDW. Sometimes the cats chew on the lower branches & I don't want my sisters to have another thing to be concerned about. But Mom loves looking at my tree. She'll just sit in the living room and gaze at it in the evening. So I have good reasons to decorate it either time. Still trying to decide....

Thankfully, I have all of next week off. I'll have time to really organize - both packing and readying things at home.

I'm getting so excited!

We're now under one million seconds! (thanks, son.)

As the first of two turkeys is cooking, I'm thinking of more things that I still need to get. (I can now say "we're leaving next week"!) I need to check at the dollar store and see about getting a few cheap rain ponchos. Ya know - be prepared!

Trying to get everything lined up for my Mom too. Now, that's a challenge! Thank heavens, my sisters are familiar with her health problems. We got a more light-weight wheelchair, in case they need to take her somewhere. what else....

ah, yes - on Friday, we're going over to San Francisco to the Walt Disney Family Museum. Hoping that it'll get us in the mood!

Once you can do on-line check-in for DVC, it really comes up fast! We're leaving on Saturday night. I have so much to do between now & then. Lists....I gotta make more lists!

WOO-HOO!

Our waitlist for more nights at the Boardwalk came thru! We will now be staying at Saratoga Springs for 3 nights, then moving to BWV for the rest of the time (6 nights!)

We own at SSR and want to try it, but we know we love the Boardwalk area and the convenience of that location.
