Hi All - Any chance that they do a night or two of test runs of these. Darn it wouldn't you know it we are leaving 4/13 late afternoon before these are scheduled. Just curious if they might do these on the 11th or 12th? Thanks

If they do anything on the 11 or 12 it will be after park close.

I would not expect a soft opening. Having said that, they actually did soft-open Fantasmic! last summer, and they won't be able to set off fireworks after the midnight park closes that week... so I'd say it's ever-so-slightly possible?

I definitely wouldn't get your hopes up too high, just keep an ear out in case they announce something during the day (which is what they did with Fantasmic!).

RDCT is scheduled nightly though the 12th so I’m not expecting a soft for fireworks.

Yeah, if they do have soft openings, likely some private event-Disney Parks Blogs likes to do meet ups but those fill up in minutes.
