(1) Does Camp Jurassic and the Flyers open when the park does? The park will be open at 8 a.m., with WWOHP early entry at 7 a.m. Since we have the resort express pass for most other attractions, I'm guessing it's a good idea to ride the Flyers after WWOHP, since it's a "must-do" for my girls.

(2) If my son who is just over 56 inches wants to ride, can he be the five-year-old's "chaperone"? They will love that. Our middle child, who is also between 36-56, would ride with an adult and the other adult has to sit out, correct? If they measure my oldest as only 56 inches, would he be allowed to have a turn to ride with an adult without waiting in line again? He is old enough to stand and wait for us.

Pteranodon Flyers was our first stop after early entry for WWoHP( DD is too big for it now)

1. Yes, you want to get there before the regular crowd comes in. Remember that the gates usually open 15 minutes early, so you'll want to head over accordingly.

2. This attraction is designed for children 36" to 56" in height. Guests over 56" in height must be accompanied by a child meeting the 36" height requirement. Children between 36"-56" must be accompanied by a Supervising Companion. (from the website) So if your son is over 56, he can ride with the one between 36 and 56. If your son is between 36 and 56 he can ride with someone over 56. I would imagine that if he is between 56 and 57, they will give him a choice.

This would depend on how old your son is (or looks).

"A Supervising Companion is defined as someone who is 14 years of age or older and meets all other attraction ridership requirements."

So if your son is 9 and over 56 inches, he would not necessarily be able to act as the "supervising companion" for your 5yo. He might, depending on how he acts and if the employee decides to ignore their definition of "supervision companion". Basically, would you trust your son to keep the 5yo quiet and calm if the ride breaks down and they're stranded in the air? And would you trust your 5yo to listen to your older son if that happened?

He is a very short 12 yr old. He does not ride coasters, so I really want him to be able to enjoy all the rides that are his speed, despite his age. Being a "supervising companion" would make him feel less "babyish" about it. I would trust him to keep her calm because it wouldn't be very hard -- she has a very calm and confident personality for a 5 yr old -- and he is old enough to babysit her. But, I want to follow park rules. Maybe the better solution would be for him to ride with my 49 inch almost 10-year-old, and I would ride with the little one.

Yes. The 49 inch child doesn't need to ride with a supervising companion.

FWIW, they were perfectly happy letting my 52" 8 year old and 60" 10 year old ride together in April 2013. So your 12 & 10 year olds would hopefully be OK.

And yes, dash over the bridge from WW to JP about 15 minutes before official opening. If you're really lucky, you'll be able to ride it twice before the lines get crazy.
