Psychics/Mediums

I've never been to a psychic or a medium, but I've gotta say, I think it would be a neat thing to do. I believe there are some people who truly have a "gift" and I think there are many people who are scam artists and get lucky with some of their observations.

I'm sure everyone has stories like this, but I remember the one time I ever played with a Ouija Board. It was in high school, during a play rehearsal. We were all gathered around the board (and I have to say, NONE of us believed in such crazy things, and we were all just laughing and joking around). The board "said" someone in the room was going to die at 21. (Actually it spelled out "room" "die" "2" "1". ) I admit, we freaked out a little, but didn't give it too much thought. It was just a half hour in a few teenagers' lives. After graduation, I left the area to go to college. One night, I got a call from a high school friend telling me that Alice, another girl who had been playing with the Ouija Board that day after school, had died of a sudden heart attack. She died one day before her 21st birthday. Since then, I wonder.....

And OP - I think readings from psychics are a lot like believing in UFO's. If you haven't seen one, you think those who claim they have are "crackpots" and it's easy to debunk their theory. But, if you believe you've had an true experience, your mindset changes and you wonder if it's possible. Because, there's truly no other logical explanation for what you've experienced, you look for something outside your realm of "truth". Does that make any sense?

Anyway, I'd welcome the opportunity to sit with a medium. It would be very interesting to see what she/he had to say. But I'll never, ever play with a Ouija board again.

I hope for my own sake, that the Tag Fairy stays far away from this thread!

I would do a medium or psychic but wouldnt touch a O board. Gives me the chills just thinking about it
