Psych majors: help please

I need to come up with a creative idea for a project that encompasses learning, memory, intelligence, and emotions. I would really appreciate any ideas because I can't think of anything right now. Thank you!

I'm not a psych major, I'm a HS math teacher.

But how about something on the ability of people to remember new song lyrics-- whether it's easier to learn new "happy" lyrics (say one on having found new love) over "sad" lyrics ("my boyfriend just dumped me" type of stuff.) Is one type easier to learn than the other? (I'm assuming the actual music would have to be the same, otherwise you're introducing a new variable.)
