I frequent many video game message boards, btw I am 16. Nintendo is the king of handhelds, not really much debate. The PSP will break easily, and if in the rare occasion a Nintendo product does break, they will replace it.
Games are as a whole much better than PSP. The movie feature or UMD has flopped as many movie marketers are jumping ship from the format. Sony is now doing something with memory cards and very lackluster at that. You have to buy memory cards to save the music you play and the games.
The DS is getting a web browser soon, and already has an extra attachment to play movies and music if you want to (expensive though). I see many people trading in the PSP as they only listened to the music and movies on it, so there is not much point.
Great games for the DS are New Mario, Wario Ware Touched, Meteos (puzzle) Mario Kart, Metroid, Brain Age Games, for youngins Nintendogs. Advance Wars is another great game. And how could I forget Animal Crossing.
Someone loaded Mario Kart and this racing game for the PSP. They had finished 3 laps and started another one before the PSP could get ten seconds into the race. Awful loading times.
