PSB vs. Cinderella dinner?

Haven't had much luck securing reservations for CRT with the weather issues. I did get a PS for the PSB at Epcot, but now I'm wondering if the Cinderella dinner at the Grand Floridian(?) would be nicer? Any opinions? We had two DD, 7 and 9. We typically don't spend too much time at Epcot, so we'd probably be going there only for the breakfast, and then leaving.

Thanks!

We did the PSB a few weeks ago and it was excellent. I highly recommend it. I took DDs 2 & 5 yrs old, and DS (10) tagged along. The breakfast is really good, although that really was secondary to us. The princesses were beautiful, very welcoming and nice. We saw Belle, Snow White, Mulan, Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty.

Our PS was for 8:50 and we arrived at Epcot at 8:00. We arrived at Norway around 8:30. After checking in we waited a very short time before the "good morning ceremony" started. I did not even know about this. All the wait staff came our with chimes and bells singing a good morning song in their native lanugage. The the master of ceremonies introduces the princess of the day - a little girl picked from the crowd. She wears a crown and holds a wand. All the little princesses are asked to come join her in wishing the door to open. It is a very heavy door and needs many wishes to open. It was ar eally cute ceremony. The castle is beautiful inside - really full of character and the CMs are all very pleasant.

We were seated ahead of our PS time. Once the drinks were poured the princesses started making their rounds in the room. Each princess came to our table, chatted, signed autographs and posed for pictures. They were all really nice and we did not feel rushed at all. Jasmine kissed my 5 yr old on the cheek leaving a big lipstick print. Mulan sany a song from her movie to my 2 yr old. Sleeping Beauty was so beautiful and friendly.

Although the girls did not eat alot, I consider paying for the expeince worth every penny. I would definately do this one again. Aside from wanting to actually eat in the castle, I cannot imagine anything else being better.

I think that at Cinderella's dinner you will not get to see as many(if any) other princesses.

Good luck.

definitely only one princess (cinderella) at the 1900 park fare dinner, but you get the mice, fairy godmother and the prince. and the food is EXCELLENT. i would definitely recommend it over CRT unless your child is absolutely fixated on meeting Cindy at her 'house'. because the food is pre-plated at CRT and often, i have found, cold :crazy2:

But we loved PSB and are going back there in a couple weeks on our next trip. Definitely the most bang for the buck character wise if you have a little girl who loves princesses! We had good food there too, hot and fresh.

have a great trip!

Well, I haven't done either yet but do plan to do both in Oct. I've done CRT and thought we'd try something different this time. I would guess that the food would be better at GF as it is a buffet instead of preplated and it is dinner vs. breakfast. But I just wanted to say that there is probably lots your DD's would love at Epcot. World Showcase isn't open as early as breakfast but I would think your girls would love making the masks and you can buy a passport (or use their autograph books) and the CM's from the different countries will sign in their native language. And lots of really great entertainment too. And my kids loved Figment, Land, and Spaceship Earth in Future World(we missed Energy & Living Seas). I would give Epcot a shot.

Princess Storybook Breakfast at Norway in Epcot. An alternative to CRT.

We did both the PSB and Cindy's Gala and loved both. MY 5 DGD ages 2-4 loved the interaction with Belle, Jasmine, Alice, Aurora, and especially Mary Poppins! But the look on their faces when Cindy stopped at the dinner was priceless. They ate very little a the breakfast because they were always watching for the next princess to come but did better at the buffet dinner after Cindy's appearance.

If you can live without the other princesses, and Cinderella is your focus, then I would highly recommend the dinner at 1900 Park Fare over the PSB.
It was much more "relaxed" - not a word I use often when referring to character meals. The food on the buffet was EXCELLENT, as I recall and the characters really took their time.
I thought it was a terrific experience and am considering doing it again.

I took my almost 12 year old granddaughter to the dinner with Cinderella in June. She loved it and loved the food as well. She kept saying, this is AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!
It was great just watching her. We had gone to Chef Mickey's the prior year, but she liked this better.

I actually liked the food better at CRT and the atmosphere can't be beat. PSB was nice as well, didn't care as much for the food. I would choose the castle over it. We met 4 princesses there and 4 at the castle plus the Fairy Godmother was in the lobby.

princesses at PSB. If your DDs like all the princesses (and not mostly Cindy, because she's not there), I would go to PSB. Less $ spent and lots of princess interaction. If you are looking for a good meal and your girls love Cinderella, you will need to go to the GF for dinner. Neither is a bad choice. Dinner is more expensive (of course), and I found the character interaction to be more subtle and "grown up" at the GF. Your DS may enjoy either meal as well- he will probably get lots of attention from the princesses, or be able to hang with the prince!
