I'm helping friends finalize their dining plans. The 90 day mark comes up next week. When making PSB PS, will there be a credit card hold or deposit? I know there is for Cindy's and there wasn't the last time we went to PSB, but I wasn't sure if it had changed. Don't want to be caught off-guard. Thanks

Melanie

Yes, you will be asked for a credit card hold just like at CRT

Good Luck :)

Thanks. So, do they go ahead and charge the deposit amount like they do at Cindy's now or do they just hold the cc in case you don't cancel or don't show?

They charge $10 per adult and $5 per child and it goes through within a day or two. The name on the cc must match the name the PS is under and that person needs to be there. You can charge the balance on another card. You will get a refund if you cancel with at least 48 hours notice.

I have recantly made PS for PSB and 1900 Park Fare. I was told I needed a credit card because of our party size. There is 15 for PSB and 17 for the Park Fare. The CM told me that my card would not be charged unless we did not show up. (48 hour cancellation)I checked to see if there was a charge and there has not been one made to my card. The PSB breakfast is getting hard to get. Hope this helps! :)

OZFan, when was that? I think this is a really new policy, but I am sure I was charged for the PSB PS I made on March 1st and for the two CRT PS I made later that week, there is a charge for each one on my online bill.

CRT does charge a deposit. I think that Disney started it because of people getting PS's and then putting them on ebay or other websites for a fee. When I made the PS for the PSB breakfast the CM told me that since I had 15 in our party I needed a credit card to hold my ressies. I was also told that my card would not be charged unless we didn't show up. I can understand their policy on this because they have set aside a table for 15 and if we didn't show then that would be their loss. When I called for our 1900 Park Fare ressies I had to secure that PS with a credit card. Not a deposit but a "just in case" the 17 of us didn't show. I think it is something like $10 an adult and $5 a child. I told everyone they had better show or I was taking it out of their hides!! :teeth:
