Please Please take your children aside and hug them xtra tight!
My son, stationed at the Navy base, in Texas, killed himself. Their were no warning signs, no indications., it was out of the blue.
We talked at length, Monday night, about all the fun we were having going to have at Food & Wine Festival in a few short weeks.
I will never be able to hug him again

Losing a loved family member to suicide is such a gut wrenching tragedy. I can barely come up with any words to tell you my sympathy for what you and your family are feeling right now and into the future. But you do have my upmost sympathy.

Words cannot express my feelings for you right now. My brother took his own life a couple of years ago and that was heartbreaking enough. BUT, to lose a precious child that way, I'm not sure I could go on . . . yet I would have to. I don't mean to stir up any controversy with anyone, but do you know if he had recently been taking Ambien or any form of it? There have been an unusually high amount of suicides in people who never showed an inclination for it before - after taking Ambien. Not that it matters - just sometimes it helps to know why . . .
