The snow storm has just hit northern France. (I live roughly 120 miles as the crow flies from DLP)
About 1in fell in less than half an hour here, and we're in the very center of town, I just can imagine how it's like in the countryside. It's still heavily snowing and temperatures are -5°c in the center of town, must be in the -9°c outside of town, and fell like -14°c at least
Let's wait for Carrie_cat for the weather at DLP, but I guess it's just the same as here
For those who are about to leave for DLP, pack the snow gear, it's freezing.
Also get yourself warm and "watertight" shoes. There is nothing worse than thawing ice and melting snow. You'd get your feet all wet all day long. Last year we ended up using plastic bags (those you get in DLP shops) over our socks ...
